Sell This House - Tanya Memme

Born in Canada, Tanya Memme is a co-host in the famous A&E show, “Sell This House”. Known for being witty and sharp, Tanya is one gregarious host that has been born for the camera. Growing up in a family with an award-winning housing company called “Mountain View Homes” that is famous in Ontario, it almost seemed like fate worked its way when Tanya became part of a popular TV show on house flipping.. 

Sell This House is not Tanya’s first TV or media stint. Under her belt is a Miss World Canada title, after the competition of which came the rise of her TV career. In Los Angeles, she was the former host of CBS-2’s “9 On The Town” and ABC-7’s “Eye on LA”. She also endorsed DirecTV and became one of the hosts in TLC’s “Robotica” for three seasons. 

Today, Tanya Memme is one busy celebrity, as she is also a correspondent for the highest rated news program in Canada that is “Entertainment Tonight Canada”, interviewing celebrities and all famous personalities of the entertainment world. In addition, she hosts a second show for A&E called “Move This House”. Tanya is also doing her first lead-role in a feature film with Corey Feldman in the movie "Terror Inside". As if hosting and acting are not enough, this multi-media star is also a talented singer and has recorded her first CD entitled, "Gemini".

Early on, Tanya had already demonstrated her talent of being a performer and of being worthy to be in front of the camera. Leaving Ontario, Canada at the age of 15, she began competing in local beauty pageants and was crowned Miss World Canada in 1994. Much controversy and learning experiences later, Tanya decided to move to New York City to attend the prestigious American Musical & Dramatic Academy. In the academe, she underwent rigorous training as an actor, singer and dancer. Soon she landed roles on worldwide TV hits like “The Practice”, “JAG” and “CSI Miami” and appeared on “Saturday Night Live” with Sylvester Stallone while landing gigs in various independent films. She also became a sports reporter for KCBS' Fan Cam and an entertainment reporter for both Warner Bros./Telepictures and CBS. 

Aside from hosting, shooting for a promising film, and singing, Tanya is also set to release a book based on the popular series “Sell This House” with co-host Roger Hazard. The book will contain a lot of tips, step-by-step methods, and ideas on how to flip a house, increase its value, and get a good deal in the declining real estate market. 

Tanya definitely enjoys media success, but behind the cameras, she loves to do other things of her passion like traveling from state to state to give motivational speeches to thousands of women and teens. She shares the philosophies in which she lived her life by and imparts some knowledge about the steps she took to achieve her goals and become a successful woman. In addition, Tanya is a daredevil athlete who loves to engage in sports like helicopter skiing and stunt car driving.
